Can painters blue tape block Epoxy floor coating from getting through?

I am planning on painting my garage level with a two-step epoxy garage paint/coating, thats the one with the decorative chips. However, as if I was using harmonious paint, I want to tape off and block areas that I do not want painted. Will ordered painters
It will not gash through the tape, however..epoxy is a very hard product when cured..You may have trouble getting the tape off if you sanction the epoxy to dry on it..just make sure as you paint an compass with the tape on it..to remove that section
