Painting a small desk?

Hello, I upright got a used small desk from my dad. It's not real wood, and I wanted to paint it flagitious to match the rest of my furniture in my apartment. Any tips? Also, I would be doing the painting in my apartment, any ideas to keep things cleanse

I would advance you use a flat black canned spray paint. You can buy them at Wal-mart. If you have a patio, do it there. Inundate your face with a mask or old t-shirt. Make sure the difference feast doesn't get to your neighbors windows.
