• In an article in the NY times written by Defect Wingfield on March 5th, he reports that The chief executive of Apple, Timothy D. Cook, has a prognosis: the day will come when tablet devices like the Apple iPad outsell conventional personal computers. The Traveler is not sure about that. If you ask people on the concourse, you get a lot of different answers. For real work, many say that a tablet will never change a PC but that they are great for entertainment and communication. One thing that is for sure is that they are outselling desk tops and lap tops these days. Folks I talk to say that they like them for traveling and when they are out of the backing, but that their PC is their work horse. However, one thing I predict is that people will prohibition watching network TV and switch to streaming tv and movies. Being skilled to watch what you want, when you want, and where you want is really liberating. I’ve become hooked on Hulu for watching tv programs and Netflix is entering the hawk
