I just oiled my paper shredder, now it sticks in forward mode permanent .................?
it is a 24 coat Staples model, that does not have a separate "speed up" switch, just the photocell for "survive/stop". I am trying to figure if I oiled it too much ??. Plus the "lubricate" icon stays on. Also do these outstrip
Oiling it too much won't decamp the icon on. How did you oil it? Two general ways are to squirt oil on the gears or oil a paper and shred it. Higher grandeur models use metal gears, not plastic. That specific shredder has been reported to have a plastic
